Privacy Policy
The short version. OptionsIQ has no login and no account. We do not ask for your name, email, phone, contacts, location, photos, or payment details. We do not show ads, we do not sell or share your data, and we do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers. Data the app downloads to show you the panels is cached on your own device and stays there.
What the app stores on your device
To work offline and remember your preferences, the app saves the following locally on your phone only (in on-device storage); it is never transmitted to us or anyone else:
- the most recent content for each panel (so the app can paint last-known data when offline);
- small interface preferences (e.g. which sections you left open, whether you've seen the intro).
Deleting the app removes this local data.
Information handled by our servers
The app fetches already-prepared content from our server over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Like virtually all internet services, our server may automatically record standard technical log entries — such as IP address, device/OS type, and timestamps — solely to operate, secure, and debug the service (e.g. rate-limiting and abuse prevention). We do not use these logs to identify you, build a profile, advertise to you, or track you across other apps or websites. Logs are retained for 30 days and then deleted.
No tracking, no ads, no sale of data
We do not integrate advertising kits, cross-app tracking, or third-party analytics. We do not sell, rent, or trade any data. We have no advertising identifiers.
Children
OptionsIQ is intended for a general adult audience interested in financial markets. It is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country) and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Data sources
The market information, news headlines, and market commentary shown in the app are prepared by us from third-party data providers and our own editorial process. This content is provided for information only (see the Terms & Disclaimer) and is shown on a delayed basis.
Security
We use industry-standard measures (encrypted transport, access controls) to protect the service. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
Because there is no account, there is no profile to access or delete on our side. To remove the app's local data, uninstall the app. Questions or requests: admin@optionsiq.io.
Changes
We may update this policy; we'll change the "Effective date" above and, for material changes, surface a notice in the app. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
